Origin & History
From Latin associativus, from associare (“to join, unite”), via Medieval Latin and later scholarly use; popularized in logic/psychology and used in mathematics for the associative law.
लैटिन associativus से, जो associare (“जोड़ना/एक करना”) से बना; मध्यकालीन लैटिन और बाद के विद्वतापूर्ण प्रयोगों के माध्यम से अंग्रेज़ी में आया; तर्क/मनोविज्ञान में प्रचलित हुआ और गणित में ‘सहचर नियम’ के लिए प्रयोग होने लगा।

Relating to association—forming connections between things or ideas; in psychology, describing learning or memory that works by linking one idea to another; in mathematics, describing an operation where grouping does not change the result (e.g., (a+b)+c = a+(b+c)).
