From Middle English arrive(n), from Old French ariver “to come to shore, land”, ultimately from Latin ad- “to” + ripa “shore, riverbank”.

मध्य अंग्रेज़ी arrive(n) से, पुरानी फ़्रेंच ariver “किनारे आना/उतरना” से; मूलतः लैटिन ad- “की ओर” + ripa “किनारा/नदी-तट” से।

To come to a place or destination after moving or traveling; also used for reaching a time, stage, decision, or result.

चलकर या यात्रा करके किसी स्थान/गंतव्य पर पहुँचना; समय, चरण, निर्णय या परिणाम तक पहुँचना के अर्थ में भी प्रयुक्त।
