Definition
An apse is the rounded or many-sided (polygonal) architectural space that projects from the main body of a building—most commonly found at the eastern end of a church and often housing the altar.
एप्स किसी इमारत (विशेषकर चर्च) के मुख्य भाग से बाहर की ओर निकला हुआ अर्धवृत्ताकार या बहुभुजी वास्तु-भाग होता है, जो प्रायः पूर्वी छोर पर होता है और जिसमें अक्सर वेदी (altar) स्थित होती है।
