From Greek apathēs (“without feeling”), from a- (“without”) + pathos (“feeling, suffering”), via Late Latin apathia and French apathique.
ग्रीक apathēs (“भावनाहीन/अनुभूति के बिना”) से; a- (“बिना”) + pathos (“भावना/अनुभूति/दुःख”)। यह रूप लेटिन apathia और फ़्रेंच apathique के माध्यम से अंग्रेज़ी में आया।
Definition
Apathetic describes a person who does not care much about what happens, showing little interest, enthusiasm, or emotional response (often in situations where interest is expected).
Apathetic (उदासीन/भावशून्य) उस व्यक्ति को कहते हैं जिसे किसी बात की परवाह नहीं होती, जिसमें रुचि, उत्साह या भावनात्मक प्रतिक्रिया बहुत कम होती है (अक्सर उन परिस्थितियों में भी जहाँ रुचि अपेक्षित होती है)।
