From Greek anabatikos “going up, mounting”, from anabainein “to go up, ascend” (ana- “up” + bainein “to go”).
यह शब्द यूनानी anabatikos (अर्थ: ऊपर की ओर जाने वाला/चढ़ने वाला) से आया है, जो anabainein (अर्थ: ऊपर जाना, चढ़ना) से बना है: ana- (ऊपर) + bainein (जाना)।
Definition
Anabatic describes an upward movement, especially a wind that flows upslope during daytime as sun-warmed air rises along mountain sides; it can also describe birds or aircraft gaining height by riding such rising currents.
Anabatic का अर्थ है ऊपर की ओर उठना या ऊपर की ओर बहना; विशेष रूप से यह दिन में होने वाली ढलान-चढ़ती हवा (upslope wind) के लिए प्रयुक्त होता है, जब सूर्य से गर्म हुई हवा पर्वत-ढलानों के साथ ऊपर उठती है; इसका प्रयोग पक्षियों या विमानों के ऐसे उठते वायुप्रवाह पर ऊँचाई लेने के संदर्भ में भी होता है।
