जर्मन Agogik से (संगीत सिद्धांत/प्रदर्शन-प्रथा में प्रयुक्त); मूलतः ग्रीक agōgē (“मार्गदर्शन/नेतृत्व”), जो agein (“नेतृत्व करना”) से बना है।
Definition
Agogik refers to expressive, non-mechanical micro-variations of tempo (slight speeding up or slowing down) used by performers to shape phrasing and emphasis, distinct from notated tempo changes.
Agogik का अर्थ है प्रस्तुति में अभिव्यक्ति के लिए लय-गति (tempo) में सूक्ष्म, लचीले उतार-चढ़ाव—हल्का तेज़ या धीमा करना—जिससे वाक्य-रचना (phrasing) और ज़ोर (emphasis) उभरता है; यह लिखित/चिह्नित टेम्पो बदलावों से अलग होता है।
