From French affront (“insult; confrontation”), from Old French a- (to) + front (“forehead/face”), ultimately from Latin frons (“forehead, face”).
फ़्रेंच शब्द affront (“अपमान; सामना/टकराव”) से; यह पुरानी फ़्रेंच a- (की ओर/पर) + front (“माथा/चेहरा”) से बना, और मूलतः लैटिन frons (“माथा, चेहरा”) से संबंधित है।
Definition
“Affronts” can mean insults or actions that show disrespect and cause anger or shame; it can also mean “he/she/it affronts,” i.e., deliberately offends someone.
“Affronts” का अर्थ अपमान या ऐसी हरकतें/शब्द हो सकते हैं जो अनादर दिखाएँ और किसी को आहत या क्रोधित करें; यह “he/she/it affronts” के रूप में भी आता है, यानी जान-बूझकर किसी को अपमानित/आहत करना।
