Formed in modern scientific English from aero- (“air; aviation”, from Greek aēr “air”) + thermal (“heat”, from Greek thermē “heat”), used widely in aerospace engineering from the mid-20th century.
आधुनिक वैज्ञानिक अंग्रेज़ी में aero- (अर्थ: “वायु; उड्डयन”, ग्रीक aēr “वायु” से) + thermal (अर्थ: “ऊष्मा”, ग्रीक thermē “ऊष्मा” से) के योग से निर्मित; 20वीं शताब्दी के मध्य से एयरोस्पेस इंजीनियरिंग में व्यापक प्रयोग।

Pertaining to combined aerodynamic and thermal (heat-transfer) phenomena, especially in high-speed flight and spacecraft re-entry where airflow causes heating.
