Adaption is the act or process of adjusting something (or oneself) to fit a new situation, environment, or purpose; it can refer to biological changes that improve survival, or to converting a creative work into another medium (e.g., book to film).
Adaption का अर्थ है किसी चीज़ (या स्वयं) को नई स्थिति, वातावरण या उद्देश्य के अनुसार ढालने/अनुकूल बनाने की प्रक्रिया; यह जीवविज्ञान में जीव के ऐसे परिवर्तनों के लिए भी आता है जो वातावरण में बेहतर जीवित रहने में मदद करें, और कला/रचनात्मक क्षेत्र में किसी कृति को एक माध्यम से दूसरे माध्यम (जैसे उपन्यास से फ़िल्म) में रूपांतरित करने के लिए भी।
