From American Spanish zacatón, from Spanish zacate “grass, hay” (ultimately from Nahuatl zacatl “grass”) + augmentative suffix -ón.

Definition
Zacatons are tall, coarse clump-forming grasses (often Muhlenbergia spp.) native mainly to Mexico and parts of Central America, sometimes forming extensive grasslands and used locally for grazing, thatching, or erosion control.
জাকাটনস হলো লম্বা, খসখসে, গুচ্ছাকারে জন্মানো ঘাস (প্রায়ই Muhlenbergia গণের প্রজাতি), যা প্রধানত মেক্সিকো ও মধ্য আমেরিকার কিছু অঞ্চলে জন্মায়; কখনও বিস্তৃত তৃণভূমি তৈরি করে এবং স্থানীয়ভাবে চরানো, ছাউনি (থ্যাচিং), বা মাটিক্ষয় রোধে ব্যবহার হয়।
