Formed in Modern English from well (adverb meaning “thoroughly, to a high degree”) + documented (past participle of document, from Latin documentum “lesson, proof”, from docere “to teach”).
আধুনিক ইংরেজিতে well (অর্থ: ‘ভালোভাবে/পূর্ণমাত্রায়’) + documented (document-এর অতীতকৃদন্ত; document এসেছে ল্যাটিন documentum ‘প্রমাণ/দলিল/শিক্ষা’ থেকে, যা docere ‘শেখানো’ ধাতু থেকে উদ্ভূত) যোগে গঠিত।
