Victorianism refers to the moral codes, social norms, cultural tastes, and attitudes typical of Britain during Queen Victoria’s reign (1837–1901), often characterized by respectability, strict propriety, prudishness, and conventional values.
ভিক্টোরিয়ানিজম বলতে রানি ভিক্টোরিয়ার শাসনকাল (১৮৩৭–১৯০১) চলাকালে ব্রিটেনে প্রচলিত নৈতিক বিধি, সামাজিক রীতি, সাংস্কৃতিক রুচি ও মনোভাবকে বোঝায়—যা সাধারণত ‘ভদ্রসম্মততা’, কঠোর শিষ্টাচার, সংযম/রক্ষণশীল যৌননৈতিকতা (prudishness) এবং প্রচলিত মূল্যবোধের সঙ্গে যুক্ত।
