It can mean (1) multiple instances of the letter V, (2) several things shaped like a V, (3) in cricket, the forward V-shaped area between cover and midwicket where straight drives are commonly played, and (4) in polyamory, one person (the hinge) dating two partners who are not romantically/sexually involved with each other.
