under + hand থেকে উদ্ভূত; প্রথমে ‘নিচের হাত’ বা ‘নিচ থেকে করা নিক্ষেপ/ভঙ্গি’ বোঝাত, পরে অর্থ বিস্তৃত হয়ে ‘গোপন/ধূর্ত/অসৎ’ আচরণ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Definition
Underhand describes actions that are secret, sly, or dishonest (e.g., underhand tactics), and in sports it can describe a throw made with the hand swinging up from below.
