Uintatheriidae is a paleontological family of extinct mammals known as uintatheres—massive, rhinoceros- to elephant-sized plant-eaters characterized by skull ornamentation (bony knobs or horn-like protuberances) and enlarged canine teeth, living mainly in the Eocene of North America and Asia.
