Definition
A turnbuckle is a metal fitting with two threaded end connections (often eyelets, hooks, or jaws) joined by a central body that you rotate to shorten or lengthen the assembly, thereby increasing or decreasing tension in cables, ropes, tie rods, or braces.
টার্নবাকল হলো একটি ধাতব ফিটিং, যার দুই প্রান্তে থ্রেডযুক্ত সংযোগ (সাধারণত আইলেট/হুক/জ’ টাইপ) থাকে এবং মাঝখানের দেহ/ব্যারেল ঘোরালে থ্রেডের মাধ্যমে পুরো অ্যাসেম্বলিটি ছোট বা বড় হয়; ফলে তার, দড়ি, টাই-রড বা ব্রেসে টান (টেনশন) বাড়ানো/কমানো যায়।
