From tropology (the study/use of tropes; a mode of figurative interpretation) + the verb-forming suffix -ize, ultimately from Greek tropos (“turn, way, manner”) via Latin tropus.
‘ট্রপোলজি’ (ট্রোপ/রূপক-অলঙ্কারের অধ্যয়ন বা রূপকভিত্তিক ব্যাখ্যার পদ্ধতি) + ক্রিয়া গঠনের প্রত্যয় -ize; মূল উৎস গ্রিক tropos (‘মোড়/বাঁক, পথ, ভঙ্গি/পদ্ধতি’), যা ল্যাটিন tropus হয়ে ইংরেজিতে এসেছে।

Using or applying tropes—especially metaphor, metonymy, irony, etc.—to interpret meaning in a text, idea, or cultural practice; often used in literary theory, rhetoric, and hermeneutics to describe reading something through figurative structures.
রূপক/অলঙ্কার (যেমন উপমা, রূপক, নির্দেশকতা, ব্যঙ্গ ইত্যাদি) ব্যবহার করে কোনো লেখা, ধারণা বা সাংস্কৃতিক চর্চার অর্থ ব্যাখ্যা বা বিশ্লেষণ করা; সাহিত্যতত্ত্ব, অলঙ্কারশাস্ত্র ও ব্যাখ্যাবিদ্যায় ‘রূপক-ভিত্তিক’ পাঠ বা ব্যাখ্যা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
