time + card থেকে গঠিত; প্রাথমিকভাবে টাইম-ক্লকে ব্যবহার হওয়া এমন একটি কার্ড বোঝাত, যাতে পাঞ্চ-ঘড়ি ব্যবস্থায় কর্মঘণ্টা রেকর্ড করা হতো (বিশেষত ২০শ শতকে প্রচলিত)।
Definition
Timecards are physical cards or digital records that employees use to log the times they start and finish work (and often breaks), so employers can calculate wages, attendance, and overtime.
টাইমকার্ড হলো কাগজের কার্ড বা ডিজিটাল রেকর্ড, যেখানে কর্মীরা কাজ শুরু ও শেষ করার সময় (এবং অনেক ক্ষেত্রে বিরতির সময়) লিখে/রেকর্ড করে, যাতে নিয়োগকর্তা বেতন, উপস্থিতি ও অতিরিক্ত কাজের সময় (ওভারটাইম) হিসাব করতে পারে।
