Definition
Thrombectomies are surgical procedures in which doctors remove one or more blood clots (thrombi) from a blood vessel to restore blood flow and prevent tissue damage, for example in stroke or blocked limb arteries.
থ্রম্বেক্টমি হলো এমন শল্যচিকিৎসা পদ্ধতি যেখানে রক্তনালী থেকে এক বা একাধিক রক্তজমাট (থ্রম্বাস) অপসারণ করে রক্তপ্রবাহ স্বাভাবিক করা হয় এবং টিস্যু ক্ষতি কমানো/প্রতিরোধ করা হয়—যেমন স্ট্রোক বা অঙ্গের ধমনীর ব্লকেজে।
