Theories are organized explanations or sets of ideas used to understand, describe, and predict how something works; they may be scientific (supported by evidence), practical (principles behind a skill), or formal (axioms and derived statements in logic/mathematics).
থিওরি/তত্ত্ব হলো সাজানো ব্যাখ্যা বা ধারণার সমষ্টি, যা কোনো কিছুর কার্যপ্রণালি বোঝা, বর্ণনা করা এবং পূর্বানুমান করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়; এগুলো বৈজ্ঞানিক (প্রমাণসমর্থিত), ব্যবহারিক (কোনো দক্ষতার পেছনের নীতি), বা আনুষ্ঠানিক (যুক্তি/গণিতে স্বীকার্য ও সেখান থেকে導িত বক্তব্য) হতে পারে।
