Definition
Tabacosis is an occupational pneumoconiosis in which long-term exposure to tobacco leaf or tobacco dust leads to chronic irritation and inflammation of the airways, often causing cough, wheezing, and shortness of breath.
ট্যাবাকোসিস একটি পেশাগত ফুসফুসজনিত রোগ (পনিউমোকোনিওসিস), যেখানে দীর্ঘদিন তামাকপাতা বা তামাকের ধুলা শ্বাসের সাথে গ্রহণের ফলে শ্বাসনালিতে দীর্ঘস্থায়ী জ্বালা ও প্রদাহ হয়; এর ফলে কাশি, শোঁ-শোঁ শব্দে শ্বাস (হুইজিং) এবং শ্বাসকষ্ট দেখা দিতে পারে।
