আধুনিক কারিগরি ইংরেজিতে storable (store + -able) থেকে -ity যোগে গঠিত; খাদ্যবিজ্ঞান ও কৃষিবিজ্ঞানের মতো ক্ষেত্রে ‘সংরক্ষণযোগ্যতার ক্ষমতা’ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত।
Definition
Storability is the capacity of something (especially food, seeds, chemicals, or manufactured goods) to remain stable and usable during storage under specified conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity, packaging).
স্টোরএবিলিটি বলতে কোনো বস্তু (বিশেষত খাদ্য, বীজ, রাসায়নিক দ্রব্য বা উৎপাদিত পণ্য) নির্দিষ্ট সংরক্ষণ-পরিস্থিতিতে (যেমন তাপমাত্রা, আর্দ্রতা, প্যাকেজিং) সংরক্ষণকাল জুড়ে গুণমান, নিরাপত্তা বা ব্যবহারযোগ্যতা উল্লেখযোগ্যভাবে না কমে টিকে থাকার সক্ষমতাকে বোঝায়।
