From stereo- (“solid; three-dimensional”) + -scope (“viewer; instrument for viewing”), ultimately from Greek stereós (“solid”) and skopeîn (“to look at”).

Definition
A stereoscope is an optical viewing device that presents two slightly different photographs (one for each eye) so the brain combines them into a single image with a 3D (depth) effect.
স্টেরিওস্কোপ হলো একটি অপটিক্যাল দর্শনযন্ত্র, যা দুইটি সামান্য ভিন্ন ছবি (প্রতিটি চোখের জন্য একটি) আলাদা করে দেখায়; মস্তিষ্ক সেগুলো একত্র করে গভীরতাসহ (থ্রি-ডি) একক ছবি হিসেবে অনুভব করায়।
