Definition
A shemagh is a traditional headscarf worn especially in Arab regions; it is usually a square cotton cloth folded into a triangle and wrapped around the head and neck, often held with a cord (agal), and used for cultural dress and practical protection from heat, sand, and cold.
শেমাঘ হলো মধ্যপ্রাচ্যে, বিশেষ করে আরব অঞ্চলে, প্রচলিত একটি মাথা ও গলার স্কার্ফ; সাধারণত এটি বর্গাকৃতি সুতির কাপড়, যা ত্রিভুজ করে ভাঁজ করে মাথা ও গলায় জড়ানো হয়, অনেক সময় আগাল (দড়ির মতো বৃত্ত) দিয়ে আটকানো থাকে, এবং এটি সাংস্কৃতিক পোশাকের অংশ হওয়ার পাশাপাশি রোদ, ধুলা/বালি ও ঠান্ডা থেকে সুরক্ষার জন্য ব্যবহার করা হয়।
