Formed in modern English from self- (“by itself”) + adhesive (“able to stick”), used especially for materials with a pre-applied sticky coating.
আধুনিক ইংরেজিতে self- (অর্থ: নিজে থেকেই) + adhesive (অর্থ: লেগে থাকতে সক্ষম) অংশ মিলিয়ে গঠিত; বিশেষত আগে থেকেই আঠালো প্রলেপ দেওয়া উপকরণের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত।
Definition
Self-adhesive describes a material (such as labels, tape, film, or wallpaper) that already has a sticky layer and can be attached without applying separate glue or paste.
সেল্ফ-অ্যাডহেসিভ এমন উপাদানকে বোঝায় (যেমন লেবেল, টেপ, ফিল্ম বা ওয়ালপেপার) যার গায়েই আঠালো স্তর থাকে এবং আলাদা করে আঠা বা পেস্ট লাগানো ছাড়াই এটি পৃষ্ঠে লেগে যায়।
