সিসমিকিটি বলতে কোনো নির্দিষ্ট অঞ্চলে ভূমিকম্প কত ঘন ঘন ঘটে এবং সাধারণত কতটা তীব্র হয়—এই ভূমিকম্প-ক্রিয়াশীলতার মাত্রা/পরিমাপকে বোঝায়; ঝুঁকি মূল্যায়নে অঞ্চলের ভূমিকম্প-প্রবণতা বর্ণনা ও পরিমাপ করতে এটি ব্যবহৃত হয়।
