A scramjet is a type of air-breathing jet engine designed for hypersonic speeds; unlike a ramjet, it keeps the airflow supersonic inside the engine while fuel burns, producing thrust.
স্ক্র্যামজেট হলো বায়ুশ্বাসী জেট ইঞ্জিনের একটি ধরন, যা অতিধ্বনিগত (হাইপারসনিক) গতির জন্য নকশা করা; র্যামজেটের বিপরীতে এতে ইঞ্জিনের ভেতরে বায়ুপ্রবাহকে অতিধ্বনিগতই রাখা হয় এবং সেই অবস্থায় জ্বালানি দহন হয়ে থ্রাস্ট উৎপন্ন করে।
