Definition
“Scientese” refers to language that sounds scientific—full of technical terms, passive voice, dense phrasing, and abstract nouns—sometimes used legitimately in scientific communication, but often criticized when it makes simple ideas unnecessarily hard to understand.
“সায়েন্টিস” বলতে এমন ভাষা/লেখনশৈলী বোঝায় যা বৈজ্ঞানিক শোনায়—প্রচুর টেকনিক্যাল শব্দ, প্যাসিভ ভয়েস, ঘন বাক্যগঠন ও বিমূর্ত বিশেষ্য ব্যবহার করে। বৈজ্ঞানিক যোগাযোগে এটি কখনও যথার্থ হতে পারে, তবে সহজ বিষয়কে অকারণে দুর্বোধ্য করে তুললে সাধারণত সমালোচিত হয়।
