Definition
Ropes are long, thick cords made by twisting or braiding fibers or strands, used for tying, pulling, climbing, or securing things; "ropes" can also mean the action of tying or catching something with a rope.
রোপ হলো লম্বা, মোটা দড়ি—তন্তু বা সুতোর একাধিক অংশ পাকিয়ে/বুনে তৈরি—যা বাঁধা, টানা, আরোহন (climbing) বা কিছু স্থির/নিরাপদ করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়; "ropes" শব্দটি ক্রিয়া হিসেবেও ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে, অর্থাৎ দড়ি দিয়ে বাঁধা বা দড়ি নিক্ষেপ করে ধরে/ধরা।
