Definition
Resorbable describes a material or tissue that can be gradually broken down and absorbed (resorbed) by the body, so it does not need to be removed; commonly used for medical implants such as sutures, plates, and membranes.
Resorbable বলতে এমন কোনো বস্তু বা টিস্যুকে বোঝায় যা ধীরে ধীরে শরীরের দ্বারা ভেঙে শোষিত (রিসর্ব) হয়ে যায়, ফলে তা আলাদা করে অপসারণ করতে হয় না; চিকিৎসাবিজ্ঞানে সেলাই (সিউচার), প্লেট, মেমব্রেন ইত্যাদি ইমপ্লান্টে শব্দটি বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়।
