From re- ('again') + sew (Old English sēowian, 'to stitch').

re- (অর্থ: ‘আবার’) উপসর্গ + sew (প্রাচীন ইংরেজি sēowian, অর্থ ‘সেলাই করা/সুঁই-সুতো দিয়ে জোড়া লাগানো’) থেকে গঠিত।

Definition

Resewing means sewing an item again to repair it, reattach a part, or redo previous stitches (often after a seam has come undone or was done incorrectly).
