From the adjective reflective + the noun-forming suffix -ness; reflective comes from Latin reflectere (“to bend back, turn back”), via French and Middle English.

Definition
Reflectiveness is the property of a surface or material that determines how much light (or other radiation) it reflects, and it can also mean a person’s habit of thinking deeply and examining their own thoughts and actions.
