reconstruct শব্দটি re- (আবার/পুনরায়) + construct (নির্মাণ করা) থেকে এসেছে; construct-এর মূল লাতিন construere (নির্মাণ করা) এবং re- উপসর্গের অর্থ আবার/পেছনে। reconstructing হলো এর বর্তমান ক্রিয়াবাচক/gerund রূপ।
Definition
Reconstructing means building something again after it has been damaged or destroyed, or restoring it to a previous condition; it can also mean trying to understand what happened by mentally recreating the events or talking through the details.
Reconstructing বলতে বোঝায় ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত বা ধ্বংস হয়ে যাওয়া কোনো কিছু আবার নতুন করে নির্মাণ করা বা আগের অবস্থায় ফিরিয়ে আনা; এছাড়াও ঘটনার বিস্তারিত পরিস্থিতি পুনর্নির্মাণ করে (মনে মনে বা আলোচনা করে) কী ঘটেছিল তা বোঝার চেষ্টা করাকেও বোঝায়।
