Origin & History
From earlier English recital (sense: a recitation or an account), derived from Medieval Latin recitālis, from Latin recitāre (“to read aloud, recite”).
ইংরেজি ‘recital’ (আবৃত্তি/বিবরণ অর্থে) থেকে; যা মধ্যযুগীয় লাতিন ‘recitālis’ ও লাতিন ‘recitāre’ (উচ্চস্বরে পড়া/আবৃত্তি করা) থেকে উদ্ভূত।
Definition
Recitals are (1) acts of reciting something memorized, (2) detailed narrations of events, (3) the account or story that is recited, (4) solo performances (music, speech, or sometimes visual art), and (5) formal preliminary statements in legal documents explaining background and reasons before the main clauses.
রিসাইটাল/রিসাইটালস বলতে বোঝায় (১) মুখস্থ করা কিছু আবৃত্তি/উচ্চারণ করার কাজ, (২) কোনো ঘটনার বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা, (৩) যে বর্ণনা/কাহিনি আবৃত্ত বা বলা হয়, (৪) একক শিল্পীর পরিবেশনা (সংগীত/বক্তৃতা/কখনও ভিজ্যুয়াল), এবং (৫) আইনি দলিলে মূল শর্তের আগে প্রেক্ষাপট ও কারণ ব্যাখ্যা করা আনুষ্ঠানিক প্রারম্ভিক বিবৃতি।
