Formed in modern English from re- (“again”) + experiential (“based on experience”), ultimately from Latin experientia (“trial, experience”).
আধুনিক ইংরেজিতে re- (“আবার”) + experiential (“অভিজ্ঞতাভিত্তিক”) থেকে গঠিত; experiential শব্দটি শেষ পর্যন্ত লাতিন experientia (“পরীক্ষা/অনুভব, অভিজ্ঞতা”) থেকে এসেছে।
Definition
Involving the process of re-experiencing an event, feeling, or sensory impression—often used in psychology/therapy to describe re-living past experiences (e.g., trauma memories) or intentionally revisiting experiences for insight.
কোনো ঘটনা, অনুভূতি বা ইন্দ্রিয়গত অভিজ্ঞতাকে আবার অনুভব করার প্রক্রিয়ার সাথে সম্পর্কিত—বিশেষত মনোবিজ্ঞান/থেরাপিতে অতীত অভিজ্ঞতা (যেমন ট্রমার স্মৃতি) পুনরায় ‘রিলিভ’ করা বা উপলব্ধি/অন্তর্দৃষ্টির জন্য সচেতনভাবে অভিজ্ঞতাকে পুনরায় পর্যালোচনা করার ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত।
