Formed in modern English by adding the prefix re- ('again') to endowment (from endow, ultimately from Old French endouer, from Latin dos/dotare 'to give a dowry, endow').

Definition
Re-endowment is the act or process of providing an endowment again, or adding a new endowment after an earlier one (often after loss, depletion, restructuring, or a new funding round). It commonly refers to renewing long-term financial support for institutions such as universities, trusts, charities, or foundations.
পুনঃএন্ডাউমেন্ট (re-endowment) হলো আবার এন্ডাউমেন্ট প্রদান করার কাজ/প্রক্রিয়া, অথবা আগের এন্ডাউমেন্টের পর নতুন করে/অতিরিক্ত এন্ডাউমেন্ট যোগ করা (প্রায়ই ক্ষতি, ঘাটতি, পুনর্গঠন, বা নতুন অর্থায়ন পর্বের পর)। এটি সাধারণত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, ট্রাস্ট, দাতব্য সংস্থা বা ফাউন্ডেশনের দীর্ঘমেয়াদি আর্থিক সহায়তা নতুন করে স্থাপন/নবায়নের অর্থ বোঝায়।
