Formed in English by analogy with agent/patient pairs, using the suffix -ee to mean ‘the person affected by an action’ (as in interviewee, examinee), from question + -ee.
ইংরেজিতে question শব্দের সাথে -ee প্রত্যয় যোগ করে গঠিত, যেখানে -ee সাধারণত ‘যার উপর কাজটি প্রয়োগ হয়/যে ব্যক্তি প্রক্রিয়ার ভুক্তভোগী বা গ্রহীতা’ বোঝায় (যেমন interviewee, examinee); অর্থাৎ question + -ee।
Definition
A questionee is the person to whom questions are addressed—the one being interviewed, examined, or asked to respond (e.g., in a survey or interrogation).
Questionee হলো সেই ব্যক্তি, যাকে প্রশ্ন করা হয়—অর্থাৎ সাক্ষাৎকার, পরীক্ষা, জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ বা জরিপে যে ব্যক্তি উত্তর দেয়/প্রতিক্রিয়া জানায়।
