Formed in the mid-20th century from pro- (“for, in favor of”) + social (“relating to society”); used especially in psychology and behavioral sciences.
২০শ শতকের মাঝামাঝি সময়ে pro- (“পক্ষে/জন্য”) + social (“সমাজ-সম্পর্কিত”) থেকে গঠিত; বিশেষ করে মনোবিজ্ঞান ও আচরণবিজ্ঞানে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Definition
Prosocial describes actions, attitudes, or traits that are intended to help others or improve social well-being (e.g., sharing, volunteering, cooperating).
Prosocial বলতে এমন আচরণ, মনোভাব বা বৈশিষ্ট্য বোঝায় যা অন্যদের সাহায্য করা বা সমাজের কল্যাণ বৃদ্ধি করার উদ্দেশ্যে করা হয় (যেমন ভাগ করে নেওয়া, স্বেচ্ছাসেবা, সহযোগিতা করা)।
