From the verb “prose” (to write in prose or speak prosaically) + “-ing”, related to “prosy” and ultimately from Latin “prōsa” (“straightforward speech”).
“Prose” (গদ্যে লেখা/গদ্যময়ভাবে বলা) ক্রিয়া থেকে “-ing” যোগে; “prosy”-এর সঙ্গে সম্পর্কিত, এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত লাতিন “prōsa” (সরল/সোজাসাপ্টা ভাষণ) থেকে উদ্ভূত।
Definition
“Prosing” can mean dull, overly long-winded talk or writing; it can also describe someone who is writing prose or speaking/writing in a prosy, tedious way.
“Prosing” বলতে নীরস, অতিরিক্ত দীর্ঘ ও বিরক্তিকর কথা বা লেখাকে বোঝাতে পারে; আবার এটি গদ্য লেখাকে, কিংবা গদ্যময়/নীরস ঢঙে বলা বা লেখাকেও বোঝায়।
