From New Latin prosencephalon, from Greek pros- ‘in front, forward’ + enkephalos ‘brain’ (via enkephalon).
নব্য-লাতিন prosencephalon থেকে; গ্রিক pros- ‘সামনে/অগ্রে’ + enkephalos ‘মস্তিষ্ক’ (enkephalon-এর মাধ্যমে) থেকে উদ্ভূত।
Definition
Prosencephalon is the forebrain—the front region of the developing vertebrate brain that later differentiates chiefly into the cerebrum and the diencephalon (including structures such as the thalamus and hypothalamus).
