From the verb prance, recorded in English from the early 16th century, of uncertain origin; prancer is formed with the agent suffix -er meaning “one who prances.”

Definition
A prancer is someone or something—often a horse—that lifts its legs high and moves with energetic, bouncing, showy steps; it can also refer to a person moving in an affected, proud, or playful way.
প্র্যান্সার হলো কেউ বা কিছু—বিশেষ করে ঘোড়া—যে/যা পা উঁচু করে প্রাণচঞ্চল, লাফানো-লাফানো ও প্রদর্শনধর্মী ভঙ্গিতে চলে; কখনও মানুষকেও বোঝায়, যে আড়ম্বরপূর্ণ/অভিনয়ী ভঙ্গিতে গর্বিত বা ছেলেমানুষি করে হাঁটে।
