From positive + -tron; coined in physics to mean a positively charged electron-like particle (electron’s antiparticle).
positive (ধনাত্মক) + -tron (কণাসূচক প্রত্যয়) থেকে গঠিত; পদার্থবিজ্ঞানে ইলেকট্রনের মতো কিন্তু ধনাত্মক আধানযুক্ত কণা (ইলেকট্রনের প্রতিকণা) বোঝাতে শব্দটি প্রবর্তিত।
Definition
A positron is an elementary particle that is the electron’s antiparticle; it has the same mass as an electron but carries a positive electric charge (+1e) and can annihilate with an electron, producing gamma rays.
পজিট্রন হলো একটি মৌলিক কণা যা ইলেকট্রনের প্রতিকণা (অ্যান্টিপার্টিকল); এর ভর ইলেকট্রনের মতোই, কিন্তু বৈদ্যুতিক আধান ধনাত্মক (+1e) এবং এটি ইলেকট্রনের সঙ্গে মিলিত হয়ে ধ্বংস (অ্যানাইহিলেশন) হয়ে গামা রশ্মি উৎপন্ন করতে পারে।
