From plasticize + -ation; plasticize is derived from plastic (from Greek plastikos, 'fit for molding') + -ize.
plasticize + -ation থেকে গঠিত; plasticize এসেছে plastic থেকে (গ্রিক plastikos, অর্থ ‘ঢালাই/আকার দেওয়ার উপযোগী’) এবং তার সঙ্গে -ize যোগে।

Plasticization is the process in which a polymer or material becomes more pliable and less brittle, commonly by incorporating a plasticizer that reduces intermolecular forces and lowers the glass-transition temperature (Tg).
প্লাস্টিসাইজেশন হলো এমন একটি প্রক্রিয়া যাতে কোনো পদার্থ—বিশেষত পলিমার—কম ভঙ্গুর হয়ে নরম ও বেশি নমনীয় হয়; সাধারণত প্লাস্টিসাইজার যোগ করে আন্তঃআণবিক আকর্ষণ কমানো এবং গ্লাস-ট্রানজিশন তাপমাত্রা (Tg) হ্রাস করার মাধ্যমে এটি ঘটে।
