Definition
Phosphine is a highly toxic, flammable gas of phosphorus and hydrogen (PH3), encountered in industrial chemistry and sometimes released during decomposition; the term can also refer to organophosphorus compounds called phosphines (PR3) used as ligands/catalysts in chemistry, and historically to a dye name (chrysaniline).
ফসফিন হলো ফসফরাস ও হাইড্রোজেনের একটি অত্যন্ত বিষাক্ত ও দাহ্য গ্যাস (PH3), যা শিল্প রসায়নে ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং কখনও পচন/অবক্ষয়ে নির্গত হতে পারে; শব্দটি আরও বোঝাতে পারে জৈব-ফসফরাস যৌগ “ফসফিন” (PR3), যা রসায়নে লিগ্যান্ড/অনুঘটক হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়, এবং ঐতিহাসিকভাবে রঞ্জনে ক্রাইস্যানিলিন (লবণ আকারে) নামক রঙকেও নির্দেশ করতে পারে।
