গ্রিক phallos (অর্থ: ‘ফ্যালাস’/পুরুষ যৌনাঙ্গ) শব্দ থেকে, সাথে ইংরেজি প্রত্যয় -ism যুক্ত হয়ে গঠিত; বিশেষত নৃতত্ত্ব, তুলনামূলক ধর্মতত্ত্ব ও মনোসমীক্ষণে ফ্যালাস-কেন্দ্রিক মতবাদ/অনুশীলন বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত।
Definition
Phallism refers to religious, cultural, or psychological focus on the phallus (the male sexual organ) as a symbol of fertility, power, or creative force; it can also mean a belief system or practice that gives special significance to phallic symbols.
