“Peeps” is commonly the plural of “peep” and can mean (1) small, quiet sounds (especially of baby birds) or a very slight utterance; (2) quick, often furtive looks; (3) the first faint appearance (e.g., dawn); (4) in informal speech, “people”; and (5) in games, the spots on dice/dominoes (also called pips).
