Definition
An overreaction is a response—emotional, verbal, or physical—that is stronger than the situation reasonably requires; it often involves exaggerating the importance or threat of something.
অতিপ্রতিক্রিয়া হলো কোনো পরিস্থিতি, ঘটনা বা উদ্দীপকের প্রতি এমন এক প্রতিক্রিয়া—আবেগগত, কথাবার্তায় বা আচরণগত—যা যুক্তিসঙ্গতভাবে যতটা হওয়ার কথা তার চেয়ে বেশি; এতে প্রায়ই কোনো বিষয়ের গুরুত্ব বা হুমকিকে বাড়িয়ে দেখা হয়।
