over- (অর্থ: ‘অতিরিক্ত/বেশি’) উপসর্গ + estimate (লাতিন aestimare থেকে, অর্থ: ‘মূল্য নির্ধারণ/মূল্যায়ন করা’)—এই দুই অংশ থেকে শব্দটি গঠিত।
Definition
Overestimates means to calculate, judge, or believe that something is more than the true amount or value, often leading to unrealistic expectations or decisions.
Overestimates বলতে কোনো কিছুর প্রকৃত পরিমাণ, মূল্য, গুরুত্ব বা সম্ভাবনাকে বাস্তবের চেয়ে বেশি বলে হিসাব/মূল্যায়ন করা বা ধরে নেওয়া বোঝায়, যা অনেক সময় অবাস্তব প্রত্যাশা বা ভুল সিদ্ধান্তের কারণ হয়।
