Definition
An obesogen is a substance or factor that can interfere with the body's hormonal and metabolic systems, increasing the likelihood of weight gain and obesity, often through effects on fat storage, appetite, or energy balance.
অবেসোজেন হলো এমন একটি রাসায়নিক পদার্থ বা পরিবেশগত উপাদান যা শরীরের হরমোন ও বিপাকীয় ব্যবস্থায় ব্যাঘাত ঘটিয়ে ওজন বৃদ্ধি ও স্থূলতার ঝুঁকি বাড়ায়, সাধারণত চর্বি সঞ্চয়, ক্ষুধা বা শক্তির ভারসাম্যের উপর প্রভাব ফেলে।
