Definition
Nontangential describes something that is not tangent to a curve or surface—i.e., it does not just touch along a single point/direction but meets it at an angle or crosses it; in analysis it often contrasts with “tangential” approach or flow along a boundary.
Nontangential বলতে এমন কিছু বোঝায় যা কোনো বক্ররেখা/পৃষ্ঠের স্পর্শক (tangent) বরাবর নয়—অর্থাৎ কেবল একটি বিন্দু/দিক বরাবর ছুঁয়ে যায় না, বরং একটি কোণে এসে মেলে বা সীমা/বক্ররেখা অতিক্রম করে; বিশ্লেষণে এটি প্রায়ই সীমানা বরাবর “tangential” অগ্রসর হওয়া বা প্রবাহের বিপরীত অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
